quality home care for your loved ones

Q. My mother is the most important person in the world to me. How do I know I can trust your caregivers?

A. Each of our caregivers are carefully screened, mentored, and thoroughly trained. We hire only those individuals who exhibit compassion and a since interest in caring for the aged and infirm… people we would want and trust to care for our very own family members.

Q. Do you perform background checks on your new employees?

A. Yes each potential caregiver must undergo a complete criminal background check, including qualifications and references.

Q. My mother is a snowbird; she only comes down to Arizona in the winter. Will you provide care for her?

A. Absolutely. Just give us a call and let us know when she’s arriving. We’ll be happy to schedule a great caregiver to help her with her daily needs.

Q. My mother is on this medical regimen and must take several pills a day. Can you perform this service?

A. We are strictly a non-medical home care service and as such, we cannot provide medical needs. If you arrange the pills beforehand, we can hand it to her so that she can take them herself and the caregiver will make sure they are taken at the approperate times.

Q. My dad is a little bit of a curmudgeon in his old age! What if he doesn’t get along with the caregiver?

A. Sometimes, it happens. If your family member – or you – is not completely satisfied with the caregiver, call us right away and we’ll choose a replacement quickly.

Q. What happens if my caregiver is sick?

A. Not a problem! We employ a team approach. If one caregiver is sick or is called away by an emergency, we will quickly find a substitute.

Q. What if I want to add services after I’ve already agreed to a plan?

A. Just call us. We will be happy to add services at any time, as your senior parent requires them.

Q. My dad underwent prostate surgery and he’s now incontinent. Do your caregivers help with that?

A. Yes. Hygiene and grooming is part of the many services we offer.

Q. What if my dad suddenly develops heart pains while your caregiver is there?

A. During our first meeting, we will arrange a safety and emergency procedure system with you. Our caregiver will call 911 in any emergency situation and then call our office so we can follow through. Of course, you will be contacted right away as well. Your loved one’s health is always a top priority!

Q. My sister was recently in a car accident and is temporarily unable to get around. Do you also work with the non-elderly?

A. Yes. We work with people of any age who need any type of non-medical care but not children.

Q. What are your rates?

A. We offer affordable hourly rates which, of course, vary by how many services and what types of services you choose. We will be happy to provide you with rates after we speak with you and determine your needs.

Q. Do I need to sign a contract?

A. No. At Viola’s Home Care, we realize you may need to increase or decrease services. That’s why we bill hourly. And you can cancel our services at any time you no longer require them.
